Motorcycle Driving Course A1

Theory
The course includes the necessary theoretical preparation for the test. You can study independently using online lessons and eas theory material. You will receive instructions on how you can participate in these classes (remotely in the virtual classroom in Finnish) after registering in our student system and you can select the most convenient schedule from our offered sessions.
In this section, your driving instructor will help you to understand the basics of motorcycling. You will learn about safety tips and traffic rules, as well as some of the more complex components of the vehicle. In addition to the mandatory knowledge for all licence categories you will also become familiarised with the special requirements for the category you have chosen.
The motorcycle driving theory module, included in the course pack, will prepare you for the motorcycle driving licence theoretical test. This is a crucial element of your education and will assist you in preparing to pass the test successfully. The test is a theory one. It consists of an essay exam that has 40 questions and two videos on hazard perception. You must answer at least 28 out of the 40 questions correctly to pass the test.
In the majority of instances, your eas theory test will be conducted one month prior to the date you reach the age requirement for the particular licence category that you are preparing for. The test should be taken with an approved DVSA tester. If you fail your test on your first attempt, you must wait at least 2 weeks before being eligible to take the test again.
If you are not able to pass your theory test prior to the date you begin your eas-practical training, we'll ask that you pay off any monetary course balance that is outstanding in order to prevent losing another student's scheduled place on this training course. If you're unable to pass the theory test on the date that is specified in your training schedule then we cannot book any DVSA test for you as a resit and you'll have to pay the appropriate fee for resit at time of making the reservation.

Motorcycle driving courses also offer practical classes. These are the most crucial elements of your learning process and can be spread over some weeks or even months, depending on your requirements. You will require your own vehicle for this part of the course. You should choose a motorcycle that is easy to handle and isn't too heavy or fast. The best place to start is with a 50cc moped or scooter.
After you've completed your theory training, it's now time for the practical test. This is divided into two sections: Module 1 and Module 2. The first part of Module 1 is an hour long road ride. The second portion is an independent riding section lasting 10 minutes. You will need to pass both parts to get your licence.
To prepare for the motorcycle test of module 2 You should practice the basic maneuvers like the figure 8, slalom and emergency stop. These skills will allow you understand what the examiner is looking for. It is also important to ensure that your bike is in great condition and that you have an entire set of gear including gloves, helmet, and jacket. If you're looking to move up to a different vehicle category you'll need to complete Module 5. This is the progress part of the course, which allows you to change your license without having to go through the entire IBT program all over again. This course must be completed on the bike you plan to use, and approved by your instructor.

Assessment

Licensing
